Certain maintenance requests are considered urgent, and therefore need to be addressed as soon as possible. Below, we share what constitutes an emergency maintenance request at a Champion community. If you ever experience one of these events, we want you to be confident in your next steps.
When should I call the emergency maintenance line?
When the office at your community is closed and an emergency arises, please call the maintenance hotline at 614-722-7318. Emergencies include but are not limited to:
- No heat
- No air conditioning when the home is 76° or greater
- No electricity
- No hot water/running water
- Broken pipes
- Non-working appliances; including washer/dryer
- Fire damage
- Flooding
- Non-flushing toilet
- Being locked out of your home during non-office hours
- Unable to lock/secure a door or window
What happens when I call the Emergency Maintenance line?
When you call the Champion emergency maintenance line, provide the call-attendant with your information, including your maintenance issue, address, and a call back number. Your information will then be directed to our on-call maintenance technician. Please note that if you call the emergency maintenance line, you are granting our technician access to your home to address the issue.
If you are experiencing a non-urgent issue, submit a maintenance request using our convenient resident app or by calling the office. If we miss your call, leave a brief message describing the issue, your address, and phone number where you can be reached. Please note that by leaving us a message you are granting us permission to enter your apartment to render service, unless otherwise stated in your voicemail.
