For the first time, after being implemented in July, 2014, The Champion Cares Foundation was able to show its true potential for a full year in 2015.

At each Champion property we implemented a “Round Up Your Rent $1” program, that residents could opt into during the term of their lease. With a huge help from all our residents we are happy to say that combined our residents collected $7,593 in donations! It doesn’t stop there though, since Champion then matches each resident’s donation, dollar-for-dollar. The 2015 Round Up Your Rent program raised a total of $15,186.

Back in August of 2015 we also hosted our annual Champion Cares Golf Invitational. From the Invitational we were able to raise and donate $50,000, thanks to the generous help of 144 golfers and 43 sponsors.

Finally, the grand total the Champion Cares Foundation donated in 2015 was $67,130. That total was split up across our three main local charities; YWCA Family Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio and Children’s Hunger Alliance.
