WESTERVILLE, OH – The Champion Companies is honored to have been named the 2019 Large Business of the Year by the Westerville Chamber of Commerce for their annual awards program.

The Westerville Chamber selects one large and one small business per year to highlight, based on the company’s leadership and organizational culture, business growth and support of other Westerville-based businesses, innovation in the marketplace, and level of community engagement. Notably, Champion founders Brian Yeager and Michelle Yeager-Thornton were born and raised in the city of Westerville and purposefully chose to establish their business in their hometown.

“When Michelle and I were deciding where to headquarter Champion, without hesitation we chose Westerville because it’s where we grew up, and is a great place for building a business,” said Brian, Champion’s President and CEO. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our contributions to the city that we hold dear.”
