Brian Yeager of Champion Real Estate Services Receives Forty Under 40 Award

COLUMBUS, OH – Champion Real Estate Services, a full-service multi-family real estate firm, announced today that Columbus Business First has selected Brian Yeager, Champion’s president and CEO, as a Forty Under 40 award honoree.

The longest-running program at Business First, Forty Under 40 is in its 22nd year and recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who are up-and-coming professionals and community leaders in Central Ohio. The Forty Under 40 program is a highly selective annual program and the 22nd class was chosen from a field of more than 240 applicants.

“I am very honored to be recognized by the Columbus business community and to have been selected as a Forty Under 40 recipient,” Yeager said. “Columbus is a vibrantly growing community and is not only a great place to do business, but a great place to live.”

“I think our city has so many wonderful things to offer to its citizens and I look forward to participating in the growth and future of Columbus,” Yeager added. “We are the jewel of the Midwest.”

In his role at Champion, Yeager is responsible for leading the company, with a focus on business growth and development. He has led Champion to be recognized as one of Central Ohio’s fastest growing companies by landing a spot on Columbus Business First’s Fast 50 list for two consecutive years, ranking third in 2012 and fifth in 2013.

“The achievements that I’ve made in my career would not have been possible if I didn’t have the support and trust of so many wonderful people,” Yeager said. “My family and the Champion team share in this award as they are an extension of me and for whom I am so grateful. I am very humbled by this recognition.”

In addition to his professional contributions, Yeager has committed himself to giving back to the community. Yeager has led Champion’s philanthropy efforts by sponsoring and participating in various Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio (BBBS) events, as well as organizing an annual charity golf outing, The Doc & Yeager Invitational. So far in 2014, Champion has helped raise $25,695 for BBBS.

“It is a goal of mine and of ours at Champion to continually give back to the Central Ohio community,” Yeager said. “Columbus has provided so much for our company that it is important for us to also provide for Columbus. Giving back is something we will always do.”

Yeager will be honored at the Columbus Business First Forty Under 40 awards ceremony on May 29, 2014, at the Hollywood Casino Columbus.
